Founder readiness check
Twelve questions about what you can actually show.
Most readiness questionnaires ask what you believe. This one asks what is written down, because that is the difference the work turns on. About ten minutes, and the report is yours whether or not you ever speak to us.
Question 1 of 12
Across your last three serious opportunities, can you name the job title of the person who signs off the purchase?
Not the champion who likes it — the person whose budget it comes out of.
Your answers stay in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to send them with a request, and you can clear them at any point.
What the twelve questions cover
- Go-to-market
- Whether the way you sell is a mechanism or a person. Who signs the purchase order, what disqualifies a prospect, and whether anyone but a founder closes.
- Pricing
- Where your price came from, whether it has ever been tested against what a buyer saves, and whether you know your margin per customer after delivery.
- Fundraising preparation
- Whether the evidence behind your plan exists in a form you could hand over today — the assumptions, the statements, the cap table — not whether anyone will fund you.
- Governance
- Whether equity, vesting and board records would survive examination. The area where the cost arrives late and all at once.
What it is not
It is not a score out of a hundred, and it deliberately produces no single number: one figure would flatten four different problems into one and tell you nothing about which to fix on Monday. It is not a verdict on your company. It never says whether a company is fundable.
